The United Kingdom is the 12th easiest country in the world to learn to drive according to new research by Zutobi. By analysing all of the factors that induce the most pressure and anxiety when learning to drive such as congestion collisions and road quality Zutobi revealed the countries where it s the most (and least) stressful to lose the L plates. Singapore was found to be the calmest country in the world to learn to drive - with only 2 deaths and 16 419 cars per 100 000 people it is no surprise to see them at the top! The Netherlands in second place were also revealed to be the best country in Europe to learn how to drive With a road quality and score of 64.4 and an overall score of 7.14 the United Kingdom finds itself in the top 20 for the easiest countries to learn how to drive - coming in 12th place. Singapore and the Netherlands were the only two countries to have a road quality score over 90 (90.9 and 90.5 respectively). 7 of the easiest countries in the world to learn how to drive are in Europe.
